Our Purpose

The NEPBA exists to enable churches to impact their communities and the world with the gospel of Christ by increasing cooperation through:

Fellowship
Worship
Training
Sharing of Resources

in order to plant healthy churches and strengthen existing ones.

Our Vision

We have a vision of churches:

Praying together
Reaching lost people
Developing leaders
Forming ministry teams

to serve both inside and outside the association with the result being an increased number of churches and the awareness of God's presence within the Northeast Pennsylvania Baptist Association.

IN any given year our mission field churches need assistance from people who would be willing to do any variety of things such as:

Servant Evangelism
Vacation Bible Schools

Kid's Clubs
Simple Construction/Remodeling
Door-to-door info handouts
Block Parties
Financial Support for a Project

Other ways You can Support us

PRAY-New ministries, new churches, and new vision need to be made clear to our pastors and church leaders.

GIVE-You and your church's sacrificial giving through the Cooperative Program and the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering are keys to our having the financial resources to do ministry.

GO-on a mission trip-for self-contained groups, the ministry opportunities are limitless. From helping start a church to assisting an established church grow, people can plug in to make a difference in the lives of people and churches.

A Special Request...

We have established a Church Planting Co-op. This is a place where we set aside equipment, funds, furniture, etc. for new church planters when they arrive on our field to plant a church. If you upgrade anything and have quality equipment you could pass on to us for our church plants, it would be very much apprecitated. Example: PA systems, computers, desks, phone systems, copiers, etc.
